A Tight Fit

Friday 12th June 2009
It was a quiet start to the day at the Café again today, but by 11am we were flying and Carolyn was late coming in for work.
The road outside the Café was closed again today so everyone was using the carpark, it took Carolyn 20 minutes to find a parking space, that was her excuse anyway.
Our builder man came round this evening to look at the door to our office/guest bedroom, it has always been a bit sticky as in a tight fit, but we thought it would cure itself.
Now that winter is here and there is dampness in the air the door has got worse, he said he will come round tomorrow morning to shave a bit off it.
Marisas friend who happens to be a boy came round after school, he got changed here and Carolyn gave him a lift with the kids to Freaky Friday.
We obviously did nothing this evening.

A Brief Service Announcement

Why is Fraser not Anthony anymore????

We get asked this a fair bit from the folks and friends back in the UK, so we explain..... Anthony was supposed to be Fraser but as we drove to hospital (yuk spit) in labour we realised his initials would be FA not great from a football point of view nor another you may think of, so Mr Hojo in his wisdom decided to swap the names around. Mrs Hojo was busy and should have said no, but there you go, she was busy producing offspring in a short staffed, worse than mediocre hospital that leaves people alone for hours on end when they really should be tucked up in a half empty ward, bitter? me? you noticed. Anyhow, Fraser has heard this story a few times, more as we were visiting the relatives one last time before we left the Uk for Oz and piped up that if his Mum wanted me called Fraser them I am.
And that was that.
We started in a new country and all remembered his name, easy as pie.
So now you know.
You know what, he really SHOULD have been called Fraser, it suits. And no one will ever call him Tony, thats a good thing :o)
