Cafe for sale

Great location opposite major supermarket.

Set in a pretty building that used to be the Catholic Church.

Neat little takeaway area too, handy when the tourists all want food at the same time.

Yes, they are always that cheerful.

Ooh well known chemist nearby.

Great position. Lovely Jewellers over there, and newsagents.

Oooh well known butchers too. Also opposite a well known bakers, how handy is that. All your shopping and coffee, and cake, and lunch, and afternoon tea, in the same shopping centre.
Sunny Busselton a beautiful place to live and work, need a 4 bed 2 bath house to go with it? we have one of those too, beach side of the highway, 2 minute stroll to the lovely soft sand...tempted? go on.....

Just when you thought it was safe in the Water, Again

Friday 8th May 2009
It was fairly quiet again today at the Café, we had one member of staff call in sick this morning so that did us a favour, otherwise it would have been one extra person getting paid for not doing a lot.
Freaky Friday was abandoned again tonight due to contamination in the pool, this is the second week on the trot that this has happened
We can only assume that they have changed the pool timetable and have now scheduled in a Swimming for the incontinent class on a Friday afternoon, whatever it is we are hoping they sort it out soon.
Instead of Freaky Friday, the kids and Carolyn watched a film called The Waterhorse which they obviously found quite entertaining by the noise coming from the family room, Ian decided to work instead.

It's a Sign

Thursday 7th May 2009
It was very quiet in the Café today, in fact it was probably the quietest midweek day we have had for nearly a year, hopefully it’s only a glitch.
Carolyn came into the Café early on to make a batch of Lasagne for the Café and ended up staying all day.
We had our new hanging sign put up outside the Café today, it looks really smart, much better than the crappy old one that used to be there.
After school Fraser worked his socks of in an effort to complete his homework, he seems to get quite a lot of homework most days and then every now and then, he gets a mountain of it all on the same day.
He isn’t the fastest of workers at the best of times, so he tends to spend a lot longer than is expected doing homework anyway, so it’s an absolute killer on days like this when it all comes in together.
After the kids had gone to bed we watched the film Romancing the Stone with Michael Douglas, Kathleen Turner and Danny DeVito, we love it and were hoping it would be suitable for the kids, but apparently not.
