Ians famous home made pork pies
Delicious
And sadly all gone
Yes, we bake the teeny tiny biscuits that sit on the coffee (or tea) spoon. Hundreds of them.
There and back again..... a Hojos' tale. Boscastle Life and Times. We emigrated to Australia, had 3 1/2 fab years there and decided to come back to the UK again. Here we are blogging from sunny Cornwall.

Paella
It is lovely that Mr Hojo spends so much time cooking.
It is not so lovely that I spend an almost equal amount of time cleaning up after him. Cleaning tomato based sauce off the tile, stove top and kitchen counter is not my idea of fun!
It had a little too much paprika in the recipe but fortunately we had a tub of greek yoghurt in the fridge which went with it beautifully. Tomorrow we add seafood and have it all over again :o)

Proof of the pudding, or pie in this case
Homemade Pork Pies
It was quite hard to find a butcher to sell us some pig trotters, it would appear the piggies are footless and fancy free out here. This was yummy, a bit top heavy on the sage side of thigs but delicious and far superior to the shop sold pork pies in this hemisphere. Thanks to Hugh for the recipe.
