The kids went back to school today, they were all up bright and early and looking forward to being there. Marisa was looking forward to wearing her new uniform, they have two different uniforms at this school, one for winter and one for summer, unfortunately for Marisa today is a sports day so she had to wear her sports gear instead, never mind she can enjoy wearing it tomorrow instead.
It was very quiet at the Café today, a day when you might think that there would be an influx of stressed out mums coming in for their coffee fix after having to put up with the kids for a couple of weeks, but alas it was not to be.
In the evening we watched the film Speed with Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock, a good all action movie that we like to get out from time to time.
Whatever happened to Sandra Bullock? A couple of years ago it felt like she was in every decent movie that was being made, we haven’t seen a new film with her in it for ages.

Havent been here for a while and decided to check in. Sounds like the cafe is going good. Lately we have had so many shops closing up but on the other hand a lot of new ones are opening. I try to give my business to the little shops.
Argh! sandra Bullock! I was so cross with her. Ditz really got into the whole snorting thing. Totally disgusting!
Marissa's other uniform is really nice. No wonder she wants to wear it.
We keep poddling on, plenty people seem to agree with you, Mrs D, forunately.
Snort, has to be Miss Congeniality, fantastic film, so was II.
