We got out of bed late today, we didn’t bother going to the market and decided to go to Castle Rock Beach for the day.
We made up a packed lunch, loaded the car with all sorts of swimming and floating devices, stopped in the garage on the way for newspapers and magazines to read on the beach and went and parked ourselves on the beach.
It was very hot today and we had to make sure we were all well and truly covered with sunblock, the kids played in the water most of the time while we had a little swim from time to time in between relaxing under the umbrellas.
We were there for about four hours before we went home, we had Ians homemade Chilli and Rice for Tea and then had a quiet evening just dossing around.
