Ringtail Possum

This little chap was running along the fence on our return from an evening out at the race track.

This site tells you all about them. We have a nest in the garden here but haven't seen any activity, apart from 'you know what' on the floor. They aren't popular when they get into the roof, aparantly the smell is awful and the stain doesn't come out of the ceiling.

Locals keep their cats indoors at night because they kill the possums, you have to register cats over here, and get permission to keep 2 or more!
