No Sleepover

Saturday 21st February 2009
It felt fairly busy at the Café today, but that probably had more to do with the fact that we were two staff short and Carolyn couldn’t come in to help because Marisa had been sick in the morning.
Because Marisa was sick, it meant that the kids wouldn’t be able to go to Fliss’ house today for their sleepover, when Carolyn rang Fliss to let her know, she was gutted, she had just finished tidying the house up for the occasion and not something that is done lightly.
In the evening, Carolyn and the kids had Pizza for dinner which Marisa brought straight back up again and then settled down to watch the film Underdog, a Walt Disney film.
Ian went back into work while they were watching the film to put all the Café equipment back together, it got him out watching the film and will save him having to go in tomorrow.
After the kids went to bed, Carolyn watched the film Duchess, a period costume thingy and most definitely not Ians cup of tea, so he worked on the computer all evening.

I'm quite surprised at the amount of films you watch. I thought they made quality tv over there, like Neighbours and Home & Away!

erm...if you like that sort of thing..... :p~~~

we don't watch tv at home, ever, it isn't connected to an aerial, we are sooooo not happy with the content/language, we would have to supervise everything they watched. I don't see tv as family time, we do other things, at least I can preview films or look them up and make sure they are ok for the sprogs. Shall get off my soap box on this one now, but noooo to Aussie TV! or any tv :o)

I loathe the tv so good for you. Neighbours & H&A went on my banned list when the kids were little. Trash in, trash out you know.
