It was tough getting up for work this morning, it felt like we deserved to have the extra day off, we haven’t had a proper break since taking over the Café and very nearly convinced ourselves that it wasn’t worth going in just for one day in the middle of the Christmas break.
As it turned out, we did ourselves a favour by opening up, we were quiet for the first couple of hours and then slaughtered for the next four, we still managed to finish at a reasonable time which was good and all the staff and systems managed to cope with it.
We got home at a reasonable time and did a bit of gardening before settling down for the evening and watching Bourne III.
