The café was very busy today, we knew it would be because apart from having one member of staff away, Rodelle and Jesse are both doing the same course at TAFE (college) and the one day they can’t miss is Wednesday, if we were back in the UK we would call it sods law, over here it’s Murphy’s law.
What we would like to know is who is Murphy? And who he upset bad enough to be blessed with such luck.
Fortunately for us, the parents of one of the Saturday girls took pity on us and let her have the day off school to help us out, it was just as well she did because we would have been lost without her.
One of the new baby bunnies opened its eyes today, little does it know it has just made its second step towards the pet shop.
At school today Marisa discovered that she is good at high jump, well, good enough to impress her school mates anyway, we think that she is probably a bit too short to be able to make a living out of it, but at least she has got her bit of glory for now.
After the kids went to bed we watched another episode of Commander and Life on Mars.

The trivia Queen strikes again!
"Murphey's Law was named after Capt. Edward A. Murphy, an engineer working on Air Force Project MX981, (a project) designed to see how much sudden deceleration a person can stand in a crash." www.murphys-laws.com/
