It's a Sign

Thursday 7th May 2009
It was very quiet in the Café today, in fact it was probably the quietest midweek day we have had for nearly a year, hopefully it’s only a glitch.
Carolyn came into the Café early on to make a batch of Lasagne for the Café and ended up staying all day.
We had our new hanging sign put up outside the Café today, it looks really smart, much better than the crappy old one that used to be there.
After school Fraser worked his socks of in an effort to complete his homework, he seems to get quite a lot of homework most days and then every now and then, he gets a mountain of it all on the same day.
He isn’t the fastest of workers at the best of times, so he tends to spend a lot longer than is expected doing homework anyway, so it’s an absolute killer on days like this when it all comes in together.
After the kids had gone to bed we watched the film Romancing the Stone with Michael Douglas, Kathleen Turner and Danny DeVito, we love it and were hoping it would be suitable for the kids, but apparently not.
