Noises in the middle of the Night

Tuesday 24th March 2009
In the middle of the night last night, on two occasions Ian got out of bed to investigate noises that sounded like they were coming from the other end of the house.
The first one was about 2am and fairly quiet, after checking, Ian put that down to the cats chasing each other round the house as they are wont to do in the middle of the night.
The second one at about 4am was an almighty crash and Ians first thought was that the cats had managed to knock the ironing board over, but when he checked he couldn’t find anything wrong.
When Ian got up this morning at about 6.15am, he let the cats out, looked out of the door to check on the bunnies and found mummy bunny out of her cage and standing next to daddy bunnies cage, rubbing noses with him through the bars.
Ian soon worked out that it must have been her making the noise in the middle of the night, pushing open the roof of her cage and jumping out quickly causing it to crash down noisily behind her. Ian picked her up and put her back in her cage with her babies.
In the afternoon Carolyn decided that if mummy bunny wanted to see daddy bunny so badly, it might be nice to put her in his cage with him for a short while.
That didn’t really work, as soon as she was in there he was chasing her round the cage like a raging bull, desperate to get his wicked way with her.
She was having none of it, sitting on it as much as she could and then running like her life depended on it when he got a bit too close.
After a short while Carolyn took her out and put her back with her babies.
The Café was quiet again today, which was just as well for Carolyn. She spent most of the day on and off trying to get registration information from Scouts for Fraser and Marisa so that we could book them on to the Scout Jamboree next year.
Just for a change we decided to leave it to the last minute to get it done, well it wasn’t really the last minute, we did have until they went to Scouts tonight to have it done, we must have had nearly two hours to spare, not a drama.

It is a joint effort you know, I dn't do all the work, we are a team :o) but I am the reader of other blogs, commenter, adder of widgets etc etc... a friend of mine hates reading here because she doesn't know whether she should be reading in Ians voice or mine!

lol. Sometimes the *voice* changes noticably. Then I know it's Ian but mostly it seems to be your voice with the occasional discrepency & having never heard you IRL I just hear my voice saying your words. This conversation should really do Liddy's head in. Hehe Hehe.

BTW its possums not poppums. My mind seems to be wandering rather badly to have let that one through.
