Sports Carnival

Thursday 25th September 2008
The kids had their Sports Carnival today (school sports day), Ian gave Marisa a lecture this morning on the benefits of winning and she came back with a hatful of medals, some of which were won in races against the year above her so she was well chuffed.
The boys picked up a couple of medals each for there part in team events, Carolyn has bought them some ribbon so that they can keep all their medals and stickers together which pleased them.
After school the kids went out with Carolyn to buy new shoes and trainers for next term and then came back to the CafĂ© for their evening meal, Sausages, Mash and Onion Gravy, it’s on the menu as part of our campaign to teach the Aussies about good wholesome grub, the only downfall is you can’t get decent sausages.
The kids were knackered and went to bed early after there exertions on the Oval, we sat down in peace and watched the Conspiracy Theory with Mel Gibson and Julia Roberts which we thoroughly enjoyed.
