The smallest Ideal Home in the world?

Sunday 2nd March 2008
We went into Perth today, there was free travel on all public transport and there was an Exhibition in the Convention Centre that was supposed to be showing all that is great about Western Australia, we were not totally impressed as the majority of displays were just about selling products to new Migrants who didn’t know any better.
Next door to it was the Ideal Home Exhibition, not quite the size or standard of the UK version but they did try. We picked up a few bits of useful information and some names of suppliers etc. now that we might be about to become home owners some of it might be useful.
We came home mid afternoon and went with Sharon and Malcolm to Mindarie Marina, there was a Food Festival going on, by the time we got there it was almost over but we had some very nice Hot dogs and a couple of drinks while listening to some live music while the kids played with farm animals and watched the fish in the water.
Early evening we took the kids to the beach to cool down, the water was really rough but it was good fun, when we got back a quick shower and another Barbie, its tough out here.
Apparently it’s Mothers Day in the UK today; over here it is in May so there is nothing around to remind you although we did all remember. Ian and Sharon both tried to ring their Mum a couple of times but without reply so they are in trouble, meanwhile Goody two shoes Carolyn got through at the second attempt so she is in the good books.
